Corrections Policy
We check facts against primary sources before publishing, as described in our Editorial Policy, but errors can still happen — a source can be misread, a regulatory status can change, or a figure can go out of date. This page explains how we handle that when it does.
How to report an error
Email corrections@xx0.org with:
- A link to the article
- The specific claim or sentence you believe is incorrect
- What you believe the correct information is, ideally with a source
How we handle a report
We review every correction request against the sources cited in the article and, where relevant, current primary sources. If we confirm an error, we correct it as soon as practical. If a report concerns a matter of interpretation or emphasis rather than a factual error, we'll still consider it, but we may not make a change if we conclude the original text was accurate.
How corrections are disclosed
When we correct a factual error in a published article, we update our internal record of when the article was last reviewed. For substantial corrections — a change that affects the article's core claims, not a minor wording or typo fix — we also add a short note within the article itself indicating what was corrected and when.
What this policy does not cover
This policy covers factual accuracy. It does not cover disagreements with our editorial framing or opinions clearly presented as such, and it is not a mechanism for requesting removal of accurate but unfavourable information. For privacy-related requests, see our Privacy Policy.
